Fellow American,
Our borders need to be secured. I visited both our northern and southern borders recently to learn and get a first-hand account of the state of our borders.
In reality, the fentanyl crisis isn't just happening at our southern border. At just the northern border last year, agents seized enough fentanyl to kill more than 3 million Americans. On my visit there – I found a crossroad with two signs. One said, "Prepare to Stop" and the other led on to a "Hiking Trail."
Just a few steps away and crossing an ankle-deep creek, it's simple enough to walk into the United States. It was that easy...
I believe the border crisis is a unifying American issue - one that takes real leadership to answer. Seeing the weaknesses and unreasonable pressure put on our border patrol first-hand, we can start to address the border issues by: - People whose first act to enter the country illegally do not belong here.
- We need to eliminate our lottery-based immigration system and enact one based on merit.
- Finally, if we can use our military to secure somebody else's border somewhere else, we can certainly use our military to secure our southern border once and for all.
We cannot be complacent about defending our borders. Texas and other border states are doing everything they can to ensure their sovereignty but they need help and leadership from the federal level. Fellow American, my visit to our borders was eye opening and I promise you, once elected, we will fix this together.
Thank you,
Vivek Ramaswamy

Growing up in the Cincinnati area, he often recounts the sage advice he received from his father that "If you're going to stand out, then you might as well be outstanding." This advice set the course for his life: an accomplished pianist, a nationally ranked tennis player, and the valedictorian of his Jesuit high school. He went on to graduate summa cum laude in Biology from Harvard in 2007 and received his J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 2013, worked at a hedge fund, then started a pharmaceutical company, Roivant Sciences, where his team developed five drugs that went on to become FDA-approved.
In 2022, he founded Strive Asset Management, an Ohio-based firm, that takes direct aim at asset managers like BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard and others for their fiduciary breach of duty to maximize the wealth of their clients for Wokeism. Strive's mission is to restore the voices of everyday citizens in the American economy by leading companies to focus on excellence over politics. STAND WITH VIVEK ➞
