In reality, the GOP today is led by a racist birther and twice-impeached con man who is now a convicted felon.

Everybody knows Trump never cared about solving problems.

And Trump couldn't just quit when the curtain fell in 2020. He's such a malignant narcissist that he dragged all 300 million of us through the wringer, spewing a toxic stew of election lies and inciting a violent mob.

But the insurrection didn't end on January 6.

The fight to protect our rights and freedoms of all kinds carries on -- from reproductive freedoms, to the right to vote and have that vote counted, to the freedom to live safe from gun violence -- and President Biden has done an incredible job leading that fight.

We thought democracy and decency were inevitable. We were wrong.

So, here goes: I'm asking you not to take the outcome of this election for granted. It's going to be tight, so please, on behalf of Joe Biden's reelection campaign, will you rush in $25 to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office?
