Last night I gave my State of the Union address. I hope you’ll give me a chance to share with you how far we have come, where we have yet to go, and then, if you are moved, chip in to invest in that shared vision.
Take a second to think back to 2020. Just four years ago this week -- before I came to office -- our country was hit by the worst pandemic and the worst economic crisis in a century. We all remember the fear.
Record job losses.
A record spike in violent crime.
A raging virus that would take more than 1 million American lives and leave millions of loved ones behind.
I came to office determined to get us through one of the toughest periods in our nation’s history. And we have.
Just look how far we’ve come.
It doesn’t make the news -- but in thousands of cities and towns -- the American people are writing the greatest comeback story never told.
Together, we are building a new era of American possibilities.
We are building an economy from the middle out and the bottom up -- not the top down. We are investing in all of America to make sure everyone has a fair shot. We have turned a setback into a comeback.
That’s America. That is who we are. We must keep fighting for it.
The very idea of America is that we are all created equal and deserve to be treated equally. While we’ve never fully lived up to that idea, we’ve never fully walked away from it either.
And I won’t walk away from it now.
If that is something you can get behind, I am asking you to make your very first donation to my campaign today. Whatever you are able to give -- whether it’s just a few bucks or even $25 -- will help reelect Kamala and me this November >>

I’ve seen the constant contest between competing forces in the battle for the soul of our nation. Between those who want to pull America back to the past, and those who want to move America into the future.
I believe in America. I believe in YOU, the American people. And I am asking you to join me in the fight to move our country forward.
It means the world to have you on this team. I really mean it.
